Beth Grabin has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Beth currently holds the position of Chief Financial Officer at Ascentra Credit Union since June 2022. Prior to that, they served as the Chief Financial Officer at BANKORION from October 2019 to June 2022. From 2007 to 2019, they worked at QCR Holdings, Inc., where they held various roles including SVP, Chief Accounting Officer, 1st VP, Director of Financial Reporting, and VP, Controller at Rockford Bank & Trust. Before that, they worked as a Risk Management Associate at RSM McGladrey from 2005 to 2007. Beth gained early career experience as an Intern in Finance and Accounting at the US Army Corps of Engineers from 2003 to 2004, and as an Intern at Metrobank from 2000 to 2003.
Beth Grabin pursued their education in a chronologically diverse manner. From 2002 to 2004, they studied Accounting at St. Ambrose University. This was followed by a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Accountancy from Northern Illinois University, which they obtained between 2004 and 2006. In 2014, Beth participated in The Executive Program in Bank Financial Leadership at the University of Virginia Darden School of Business. Later, in 2018 and 2019, they attended the Graduate School of Banking at Colorado for the Executive Development Institute for Community Bankers. Alongside their education, Beth obtained a certification as a Certified Public Accountant from IDFPR in February 2012.
