Halil Can Nalbant

Halil Can Nalbant is an Optical Design Engineer at Aselsan, where responsibilities include conventional optics design, imaging system performance evaluation, and metasurface and metalens design and evaluation in IR, a role held since July 2021. Previously, Halil served as an Avionics Software Engineer on a SUAV design project at Türk Havacılık ve Uzay Sanayii in May 2021. Halil also gained experience as an Undergraduate Researcher at Advanced Photonics Photovoltaics METU, focusing on heterojunction c-Si and perovskite solar cells from January 2020 to February 2021. Earlier internships were completed at Aselsan and CTECH Bilişim Teknolojileri A.Ş. Halil holds a Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Orta Doğu Teknik Üniversitesi, completed in 2021, and has a secondary education background from Izmir Fen Lisesi.
