Xavier Tinajero Oliva

Xavier Tinajero Oliva has extensive work experience in various roles and industries. Xavier is currently the Director of Cámara de Comercio de Quito and the General Manager / CEO of ASERTIA COMERCIAL S.A. In their previous role at NSP, they served as the General Manager / Legal Representative for Ecuador and Colombia, responsible for achieving sales and profitability targets, optimizing expenses, and implementing financial and operational KPIs. Xavier also held positions as a member and Vice President of the Board of Directors at Cámara de Comercio de Quito. Additionally, they worked as the General Manager / Legal Representative / Partner at Zermat Ecuador, where they successfully launched and managed the multi-level marketing business, achieving significant growth in sales and an extensive network of independent distributors. Xavier Tinajero Oliva has also served on the Board of Directors at CORPEI and AEVD. Prior to that, they held managerial positions at Herbalife Nutrition, Johnson & Johnson, and Pfizer, where they were responsible for various aspects of business development and commercial operations.

Xavier Tinajero Oliva earned a degree in Ingeniero Comercial with a focus on Marketing/Marketing Management, General from Pontificia Universidad Católica del Ecuador from 1989 to 1995. In 1997, they attended INCAE Business School to further their studies in Marketing/Marketing Management, General. Prior to their university education, Xavier attended Colegio Americano de Quito until 1988. Xavier has also obtained additional certifications including Strategic Thinking from LinkedIn in 2021 and Financial Markets from Coursera Course Certificates in 2020. Xavier also completed a course on Successful Negotiation: Essential Strategies and Skills from the University of Michigan, though the date of completion is unknown.
