Sebahattin Devecioğlu

Sebahattin Devecioğlu is a Professor of Sports Economics at the University of Firat's Faculty of Sports Sciences since March 2019 and serves as a Visiting Professor in Sports Economics at Okan University since 2022. Additionally, Devecioğlu is an active member of the Turkish Ministry of Youth and Sports, the European Platform for Sport Innovation as an EPSI Ambassador, and the Turkish University Sports Federation. With a robust background in sports management, Sebahattin is involved with the International Catchball Federation Professional Committee and Asgardia as a Member of Parliament. As a business owner and entrepreneur, Devecioğlu manages ekospor.com and contributes as a columnist to futbolekonomi.com, while also serving as an Assistant Editor for Turkish Life Magazine. Educational qualifications include a Post-Doc in Economics from the University of Maryland Baltimore County and multiple degrees in Sports Management and Physical Education from Gazi University and Firat University.
