Mario Sznol

Scientific Advisor at Asher Biotherapeutics

Mario Sznol is currently a Scientific Advisor at Asher Biotherapeutics. Mario has over 25 years of experience in the field of drug development.

Sznol began their career in 1987 as the Head of the Biologics Evaluation Section at the National Cancer Institute (NCI). In this role, they were responsible for the development of new cancer treatments. Mario remained at NCI for 12 years before moving to Vion Pharmaceuticals in 1999.

At Vion, Sznol served as Vice President for four years. During their time at Vion, they were responsible for overseeing the development of new drugs. In 2004, they left Vion to join Asher Biotherapeutics.

At Asher, Sznol serves as a Scientific Advisor. In this role, they provide guidance and advice to the company on the development of new drugs and treatments.

Mario Sznol attended Baylor College of Medicine, where they earned their Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree. Prior to that, they completed a Bachelor's degree in Biochemistry from Rice University.
