Dillon Huffman

Dillon Huffman is a Communications Specialist at Asheville City Schools. Prior to that, they worked as an Anchor/Reporter at WTVY from September 2016 to September 2018, Isothermal Community College from August 2013 to December 2015, and WNCT 9 On Your Side from September 2018 to December 2019.

Dillon is no stranger to live shots and on the spot reporting. Dillon's social media skills are a huge asset, and they are always looking for the big story. Dillon is very organized and a self-starter, with the ability to multitask and think quickly on their feet in a breaking news situation. Dillon comes across as comfortable and assertive on air.

Dillon has sharpened their news judgment through their work on "Campus Connection", having to decide what stories will impact the most students and citizens. Dillon has also gained experience in writing, editing, shooting, and reporting news packages.

Dillon Huffman's educational career includes completing an Associate of Arts (A.A.) in Broadcast Journalism from Isothermal Community College and becoming certified as a Pharmacy Technician.
