Keener Tippin has a diverse work experience. Starting from 2000, they served as the Director and Coach for Lady Deuces Basketball, where they established competitive basketball club teams. Keener also worked as the Head Basketball Coach for 7th Grade Girls at Lange Middle School and as an Assistant Women Basketball Coach at Westminster College (MO). In addition, Keener served as a Site Director for Correctional Education at Ashland University and an Academic Teacher for the State of Missouri. Keener was also involved in various roles related to communications and athletics at different educational institutions and departments in Missouri. Currently, they are the Girls Head Basketball Coach at Columbia Independent School.
Keener Tippin obtained a B.A. degree in Journalism from Lincoln University, Jefferson, from 1979 to 1984. Keener also pursued Teacher Certification in Social Studies at Columbia College between 2011 and 2016. In addition, they earned a MED degree in Athletic Administration from William Woods University from 2009 to 2011. Keener Tippin briefly attended the Department of Defense Information School in 1990. Keener also briefly attended the University of Missouri-Columbia in 1979.
