Caroline Cooreman

Caroline Cooreman serves as the Sr. Director of Strategy & Business Development for Life Sciences at Ashland since November 2024. Prior to this role, Caroline was the Business Development & Product Manager for Biotechnology at International Flavors & Fragrances from February 2021 to November 2024, where responsibilities included leading the NovaMatrix business. Caroline's experience also encompasses a role as Partner in Corporate Strategy for Pharma at DuPont from September 2017 to February 2021, focusing on merger and acquisition activities, strategic portfolio assessments, and corporate development analyses. Earlier career experiences include a position on the board of YERA, where Caroline led research initiatives, and a trainee role at The Dow Chemical Company, involving market analysis and sustainability goals. Caroline began the professional journey with a project at EnVertis Inc., focusing on bio-refinery opportunities. Caroline holds a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Science in Chemical Engineering from KU Leuven.
