Asako N.g. Takimoto

Asako N.G. Takimoto serves as the Associate Director for Portfolio at Architecture for REDD+ Transactions (ART) since February 2022, providing extensive technical support and assistance in program implementation. With a background that includes significant roles such as Senior Portfolio Manager at ART and Consultant for JICA's capacity development project, Asako Takimoto has expertise in REDD+ initiatives across various governmental and non-governmental organizations. Additional experience includes serving as a Collaborative Advisor at Kyoto University, Independent Consultant for TerraCarbon LLC, and advisor roles with the Royal Government of Cambodia. An accomplished academic, Asako Takimoto holds a PhD in Agroforestry and Carbon Sequestration from the University of Florida, a Master's degree from Duke University, and a Bachelor's from Kyoto University, contributing to a robust understanding of forestry and sustainable resource management.
