De Rui Wong

De Rui Wong is a seasoned finance professional currently serving as Senior Vice President at GIC since September 2019, leading a team focused on researching sustainability themes that impact the investment portfolio. In addition, De Rui Wong is the Chairperson of the Paris-Aligned Investment Working Group at the Asia Investor Group on Climate Change since April 2021, concentrating on developing solutions for a net zero emissions economy in Asia. Previous roles include Senior Research Analyst at PAG, where analysis covered sectors in Greater China and Southeast Asia, and Vice President at GIC, handling macroeconomic analysis of Japan and the oil markets, as well as equity analysis of Asia Pacific telecoms. De Rui Wong holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Northwestern University and attended Victoria Junior College and Hwa Chong Institution.
