Bayarmaa Amarjargal

Bayarmaa (Bama) Amarjargal is a Climate Change Specialist with extensive experience in climate action and sustainable development. Currently at the Asian Development Bank (ADB) since November 2018, Bayarmaa has contributed to various initiatives, including overseeing climate initiatives, supporting the Innovative Finance Facility for Climate in Asia and the Pacific, and managing climate finance analysis. Previous roles include Senior Program Officer for Green Development at The Asia Foundation and Senior Carbon Finance Officer at XacBank, where Bayarmaa managed significant climate-related projects and financing proposals. Bayarmaa's academic background includes a Master's degree from the University of Oxford and a Bachelor's degree from the National University of Mongolia, supplemented by exchange studies and certifications in sustainable energy.
