Matthias Leitner

Matthias Leitner is an experienced agricultural economist currently working at the Asian Development Bank (ADB) since January 2019. Prior to this role, Matthias served as an economist and nutrition consultant at FAO from March 2015 to December 2018 and was involved with the Private Partnership Division at the World Food Programme from September 2014 to March 2015. Matthias began a career in finance at Augusta Bank eG, where the focus was on investment banking, corporate, and private banking as a trainee from October 2008 to September 2011. Academically, Matthias holds a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in International Business Administration with a specialization in Finance and International Economics from European-University Viadrina, completed in 2014, and a Bachelor's degree in Banking and Finance from Baden-Wuerttemberg Cooperative State University (DHBW), obtained in 2011.
