Pierre Van Peteghem

Pierre Van Peteghem has over 25 years of experience in the financial sector. Pierre is currently the Treasurer at the Asian Development Bank.

From 2005 to 2015, Pierre was the Treasurer at the African Development Bank Group. Pierre was based in Thessaloniki from 2000 to 2005 as the Treasurer for the Black Sea Trade & Development Bank (BSTDB).

Before that, Pierre was with the Council of Europe Development Bank from 1995 to 2000 as their Treasurer. From 1993 to 1995, they were Head of Sales at LCL and before that at Caisse Centrale des Banques Populaires Holding B.V..

Pierre started their career in 1989 as an Agricultural Economist with the OECD - OCDE. Pierre then moved to the USDA in 1988 as an Econometrician.

Pierre Van Peteghem has a Doctor of Philosophy from North Carolina State University in Economics, a Master of Science from North Carolina State University in Business Administration and Management, General, and a Master's degree from Université catholique de Louvain in Business Administration and Management, General. Pierre also has a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Université catholique de Louvain.

Pierre Van Peteghem reports to Masatsugu Asakawa, President.
