Pierre Van Peteghem has over 25 years of experience in the financial sector. Pierre is currently the Treasurer at the Asian Development Bank.

From 2005 to 2015, Pierre was the Treasurer at the African Development Bank Group. Pierre was based in Thessaloniki from 2000 to 2005 as the Treasurer for the Black Sea Trade & Development Bank (BSTDB).

Pierre also has a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Université catholique de Louvain.
