Patrick Zhang

Patrick Zhang is a seasoned legal professional with extensive experience in intellectual property, public policy, and regulatory affairs. Currently serving as VP and Deputy General Counsel at Atlassian since 2017, Patrick plays a pivotal role in driving the company's commitment to collaboration and growth. Additionally, since 2018, Patrick has been a board member of the Asian Law Alliance, providing legal services to AAPI communities. Prior roles include VP of IP Strategy at Technicolor and TiVo, and attorney positions at Morrison & Foerster LLP and Ropes & Gray LLP, where Patrick specialized in IP litigation and patent prosecution. Patrick holds a Juris Doctor from Fordham University School of Law and a Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Engineering from Cornell University.
