John Downard

John Downard has over two decades of extensive experience in courtroom technology and management, holding significant roles such as Site Manager Evidence Services at ASIC since March 2020 and Director Parliamentary Broadcasting at the Department of Parliamentary Services from March 2016 to March 2020. Previously, John was the National eCourts Operations Manager at Law In Order Pty Ltd, overseeing electronic courtroom technology, and National Courtroom Technology Manager for the Federal Court of Australia, where responsibilities included contract management and strategic IT planning. John's experience also encompasses senior technological roles at the Extraordinary Chambers in the Courts of Cambodia and the International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia, coupled with a strong foundational education in Computing, Law, and Graphic Arts.
