CEO at ASIC

As ASIC’s Chief Operating Officer (COO), Warren is delegated operational responsibilities by the Chair. The COO is responsible for the day to day management and implementation of ASIC’s organisational strategy and operational and support functions. The COO leads ASIC’s Finance, People and Development, Chief Risk Office, Internal Audit, Misconduct and Breach Reporting, Office of the Whistleblower, Small Business, Engagement and Compliance, and Registry Interactions and Services teams. Previously, Warren was the Executive Director of ASIC’s Assessment and Intelligence group. Warren has more than 25 years experience in regulation, enforcement, commercial litigation, audit and taxation, and has led significant ASIC investigations into consumer protection issues, credit and unlicensed conduct and illegal phoenix activity. Before joining ASIC, Warren worked as a solicitor at Clayton Utz and as an auditor and analyst at the Australian Taxation Office. Warren holds undergraduate and Masters qualifications in Accounting and Law (Hons) and a Masters degree in Business Information Technology.
