Jeanine Ruiz

Jeanine Ruiz has worked in the scientific field since 2013. Her work experience includes a Student Researcher at the University of California, Los Angeles from 2013 to 2016, where they investigated the impacts of pesticides on drosophila development in Dr. David Krantz's laboratory. From 2016 to 2018, they worked as a Graduate Student Researcher at California State University-Los Angeles in Dr. Laura Cocas's neurodevelopment laboratory, where their duties included breeding mice, pacing, planning and conducting experiments, recording and analyzing data, troubleshooting immunofluorescence and DNA purification techniques, ordering necessary lab materials, supervising undergraduate volunteers, and ensuring laboratory safety techniques. In 2018, they were hired as a Scientist, then promoted to Senior Associate Scientist and Associate Scientist at ASKGENE PHARMA, INC.

Jeanine Ruiz completed their Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience and Biomedical Research from the University of California, Los Angeles in 2016. Jeanine then went on to obtain their Master of Science in Biology/Biological Sciences from California State University, Los Angeles in 2018.
