Gilberto Ribeiro

Gilberto Ribeiro has worked in the software engineering field since 2012. In that time, they have held various roles with different companies. From 2012 to 2014, they worked as a Support Analyst for Hitec Informática Ltda. where they were responsible for supporting firewall solutions, installing e-mail and proxy servers, and installing cables and hardware. From 2014 to 2016, they worked as a Frontend Developer for i9c Agência Interativa, where they developed interactive 3D catalogs of furniture, managed new demand for textures/3d models/image assets, and maintained pipelines of tools from Unity 3D projects. From 2016 to 2020, they worked as a Software Developer for ADP, where they developed a data extraction system from a variate database and data sources, designed the system to make the conversions, and wrote database functions to improve performance in the execution of extraction and transformation. In 2020, they held a role as a Software Engineer for White Prompt. Currently, they are a Senior Software Engineer and Software Engineer for Wonder (AskWonder.com), where they develop new features and fixes bugs on the frontend and backend, makes suggestions for improvements applied to business and/or technology stack, and programs tests to the entire architecture from frontend in javascript, backend in Ruby on Rails and database with PostgresSQL for functions and views.

Gilberto Ribeiro began their educational journey in 2007, when they attended Fatec Senai POA to obtain a Technical Certificate in Computer Networks. Gilberto then attended Universidade Federal de Pelotas from 2013 to 2015. Finally, Gilberto attended the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul from 2016 to 2020, where they obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science.
