Chris Biele has extensive work experience in sales, marketing, and journalism. Chris began their career in 2007 as a Reporter at NBC Palm Springs/KMIR, where they developed, researched, and wrote stories for news broadcasts. In 2010, they joined KTXL FOX40 News as a Reporter, providing content for various platforms including television broadcasts, websites, and social media.
In 2013, Chris joined FOX 5 San Diego (KSWB-TV) as a Reporter, where they collected and analyzed newsworthy information and conducted interviews to gather factual information for television broadcasts.
Chris then transitioned into marketing, joining MJE Marketing Services in 2014 as a Public Relations Specialist. Chris managed strategic marketing, PR, and advertising initiatives for various clients, including San Diego Tourism Marketing District, Humphreys Concerts by the Bay, and Hollywood Casino Jamul-San Diego. Chris also hired and mentored a marketing team and pitched media to earn coverage for clients.
In 2017, Chris joined ASM Global - Official as a Marketing Manager, where they led strategic planning for consumer marketing campaigns for the Pechanga Arena San Diego. Chris developed a tracking system to evaluate marketing effectiveness and successfully reopened the arena after a lengthy pandemic shutdown. Chris was later promoted to Senior Marketing Manager and then Director of Sales and Marketing.
Chris Biele attended UC San Diego from 2003 to 2007, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication. In 2014, they enrolled at UC San Diego Extension, specializing in Marketing & Public Relations. The end date of their studies at UC San Diego Extension is not provided.
