Craig Vasa

Craig Vasa has a diverse work experience that spans various industries. Craig started their career as a Certified Personal Trainer at YMCA of Lincoln, Nebraska in December 2010 and worked there until August 2013. Craig then joined the Nebraska Department of Correctional Services as a Corporal in September 2013 and worked until October 2015. Following this, they established CMV Painting as an owner and specialized in Interior and Exterior Residential/Commercial painting in the Lincoln, NE area from October 2015 to November 2020. In parallel, they also worked as a Project Manager at Services Unlimited Inc. dba Professional Painting from June 2005 to July 2020. Additionally, Craig has experience in security roles, having worked as a Security Officer at Securitas Security Services USA, Inc., Official ASM Global, and Pinnacle Bank Arena, starting in August 2018. Currently, they are the Owner of Vasa Painting, a painting company providing professional, high-quality finishes according to PCA standards since November 2020. Throughout their work experience, Craig has demonstrated expertise in painting, security, and project management.

Craig Vasa obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Criminal Justice from Doane University, where they studied from 2012 to 2017. Prior to that, they pursued General Education in Liberal Arts and Sciences at Southeast Community College for the year 2010. Between 2002 and 2004, they attended the University of Nebraska at Omaha for General Studies, although no specific degree was mentioned. Alongside their formal education, Craig also acquired several certifications, including Conflict Intervention Conflict Resolution from the Nebraska Department of Correctional Services in 2014, NDCS Firearms Certification in 2013, Field Training Officer certification in 2014, and PPCT certification in September 2013. Additionally, they became a Certified Personal Fitness Trainer and Health Fitness Instructor (CPFT-) through W.I.T.S. World Instructor Training Schools in 2010. Craig also holds a CPR & AED certification from the American Red Cross.
