Robert Galea

Robert Galea has a diverse work experience that spans over two decades. Robert currently holds the position of Director of Venue IT Operations at Official ASM Global since February 2020. In this role, they are responsible for leading the migration and consolidation of venues into a corporate environment, focusing on technology advancements in Azure and cloud-based applications.

Prior to their current position, Robert worked at Prudential Financial for a significant duration. From July 2010 to August 2019, they served as a Senior Lead Infrastructure Engineer, leading global IT teams in improving infrastructure and business application solutions. Robert managed various aspects, including hardware and software budgets, major IT vendor relations, and compliance and regulatory requirements. Additionally, Robert played a key role in the design and implementation of Azure Cloud foundational items and security configurations.

Before their role as a Senior Lead Infrastructure Engineer, Robert held the position of System Engineer at Prudential Financial from April 1999 to June 2010.

Robert Galea has a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Pace University. In addition, they have obtained certifications in Microsoft 365 Fundamentals and Microsoft Azure Fundamentals from Microsoft.
