Derek Plattner

Derek Plattner's work experience begins in 2010 when they worked as a Systems Administrator at Sungard. Derek later joined Staples in 2008 as a Sales Manager. From 2009 to 2016, they owned and operated Kilnarn Video Production and IT Consultation. In 2010, they also started working as a Sales Engineer at Devon IT, where they were responsible for product demonstrations and representing the product to customers. Derek later transitioned to a Systems Engineer role at Devon IT, providing technical support and maintenance. In 2016, Derek became a Virtualization Architect at Anexinet, a leading systems integration and technology management firm. Derek then founded Kilnarn, where they served as the Founder and Computer Systems Manager. In 2016, they joined HiveIO as a Sales Engineer, responsible for changing the cloud computing landscape by delivering a user-friendly stack. Derek's most recent position is at Schultz Technology Solutions, LLC, where they worked as the Director of Information Technology from 2019 to 2021. Currently, they are a Senior Sales Engineer at ASMGi, focusing on practical innovation and delivering measurable results for clients of all sizes.

Derek Plattner began their education in 2007 at Leopold-Franzens Universität Innsbruck, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration, Management and Operations. In 2010, they enrolled at Delaware County Community College and obtained multiple certifications in the field of information technology. Derek completed a Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) program in 2011, and also achieved certifications as a Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator (MCSA) and a Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) in 2010. Additionally, they earned an A+ Certification from CompTIA in the same year.
