Susan Plaza came to APM with 25 years of experience in social work. Most recently, Plaza served as a senior manager for one of the largest social services organizations in New York City, where she oversaw a behavioral health treatment system that provided resources to more than 600 vulnerable individuals. She has expertise in developing programs that address the needs of families, youth, and children.
Currently, Plaza is an advisory board member for the Spanish American Law Enforcement Association (S.A.L.E.A.), vice chair for The Phenomenal Women’s Committee, and finance committee board member for the Women’s Community Revitalization Project.
In her role at APM, Plaza leads the overall strategic and operational goals of Pradera Resource Homes’ staff, programs, and expansion as well as APM’s Adoptions/SWAN programs and Performance-Based Contracts.
