Virginia H. Johnson

Virginia H. Johnson has extensive experience in legal and governance roles. Virginia H. is currently the Chief Legal Officer, General Counsel, and Corporate Secretary at Aspen Aerogels, where they also serve as the Chief Compliance Officer and chairs various committees. Virginia H. is a member of the Society for Corporate Governance, the National Association of Corporate Directors, and the Association of Corporate Counsel. Additionally, they are a member of Chief, a private network for women in executive leadership, and serves as a faculty advisor for the Digital Legal Exchange. In 2021, they held leadership roles at the Mass Technology Leadership Council, TechGC, and Schneider Electric, where they served as the General Counsel for North America. Virginia is dedicated to promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion and is involved in various mentoring and women's empowerment initiatives.

Virginia H. Johnson's education history includes a Juris Doctor degree from Cardozo School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts degree, magna cum laude, from Boston University. Their field of study at Boston University was Political Science, with minors in Journalism and Philosophy.
