Khaila Shailyn Yu

Khaila Shailyn Yu is a dedicated professional with experience in various roles related to healthcare, customer service, and leadership. Currently serving as a Dental Assistant at Aspen Dental since May 2023, Khaila has also been actively involved as a Dance Coordinator for the Chinese American Student Association (CASA) at UF and as a member of the EMPRESS Interest Group since 2021. Volunteer work at the ADTU, NICU, & Dental Clinic at UF Shands Hospital has enhanced patient care through engagement with patients and families. Previous experience includes serving as a Student NightTime Auxiliary Patrol Driver for Transportation and Parking Services at UF and as a Sales Associate at Blossom Jewelry, where Khaila demonstrated strong customer service and organizational skills. Khaila holds a Bachelor of Science in Pre-professional Biology from the University of Florida, completed in August 2023.
