Alinio Azevedo

Alinio Azevedo has a diverse range of work experience in the hospitality industry. Alinio is currently serving as the Chief Executive Officer of Aspen Hospitality, where they are responsible for the management and expansion of the company and its assets. These assets include high-quality hotels such as The Little Nell and its affiliated Residences at The Little Nell in Aspen, Colorado, as well as the Limelight Hotel chain in various locations.

Prior to their role at Aspen Hospitality, Alinio worked as the Vice-President of Acquisitions and Development at Loews Hotels, where they were involved in acquiring and developing new hotel properties. Alinio also worked as an Adjunct Professor at the Florida International University - Chaplin School of Hospitality and Tourism Management.

Alinio's career in hotel development began at Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts, where they started as a Director of Development and later rose to the position of Vice President of Development - Americas. In this role, they were instrumental in expanding the Four Seasons brand into Latin America, the Caribbean, Spain, and Portugal. Alinio opened the Miami development office and successfully managed several projects in these regions.

Prior to their work at Four Seasons, Alinio worked at EY as a Manager in the Global Transaction Real Estate Group, where they led client engagements in the US, Latin America, Caribbean, and the Middle East.

In addition to their corporate roles, Alinio also has experience in hotel management. Alinio served as a Development Manager at Driftwood Hospitality Management, where they sourced and evaluated new opportunities for hotel investment in the US, Caribbean, and Latin America.

Alinio's career in the hospitality industry began at Novotel Ladeira do Sol Natal, where they gained hands-on experience in various hotel departments and eventually became the Hotel Director.

Alinio Azevedo's education history shows a progression of academic achievements in business administration, finance and real estate, and civil engineering. Starting in 1994, Azevedo earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Civil Engineering from the Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Norte, which they completed in 1998. Continuing their education, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Finance and Real Estate from Duke University - The Fuqua School of Business, which they completed from 2001 to 2003. Completing their formal education, Azevedo attended the Harvard Business School, where they pursued the Advanced Management Program in Business Administration and Management, General, from an unknown start year to 2022.
