Uyen Nguyen

Uyen Nguyen is a seasoned professional in process development and engineering with extensive experience in the biotechnology and pharmaceutical industries. Currently serving as the Director of Process Development at Aspen Neuroscience, Inc. since January 2022, Uyen previously held the position of Senior Director of Process Development and Clinical Production at Histogen from 2020 to 2021, following earlier roles at the same company. Prior experience includes serving as a Senior Process Engineer at Althea Technologies, where responsibilities included equipment evaluation and team management, and various engineering positions at Smith & Nephew, contributing to advanced wound care product development. Uyen began a career in bioengineering as a Lab Assistant at Stratagene while pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from UC San Diego, which was completed in 1999.
