Shamilla Essop is an experienced professional in human resources and talent development, currently serving as Group Head of HR Shared Services and Group Talent Development, Diversity and Inclusion Manager at Aspen Pharma Group. Previous roles include Senior Development Partner (VP) for Leadership, Learning and Talent at Absa, Senior HR Development Partner at Edcon, Group Head of Training, Talent and Leadership at McCarthy Motor Group, and Senior Trainer for Leadership at Nedcor Bank Limited. Shamilla has pursued advanced education, completing a Postgraduate Degree in Project Management at MANCOSA in 2023 and a Postgraduate Degree in Human Resources Management and Services from the University of KwaZulu-Natal in 1994.
