Katie Brown

Katie Brown is the registrar at Aspen University. Katie has previous experience working as a records and matriculation coordinator at the University of the Rockies and as a student success advisor at American Sentinel University. Katie is passionate about helping students succeed and providing them with academic resources and guidance. In their previous positions, they have managed student records and sensitive, personal student information. Katie has also communicated with students on a daily basis through phone and email.

Katie Brown studied classical antiquity, German, and Latin as an undergraduate at Missouri State University, earning a Bachelor of Arts. Katie then completed a Master of Arts in Classics and Museum Studies at the University of Colorado Boulder. Katie has also earned a Project Management certificate from Aspen University. Katie Brown is certified by AACRAO in AACRAO State and Regional Fundamentals, Registrar 101, Registrar Foundations, Federal Process and Advocacy, Theirtory and Progress: 400 years of American Higher Education, and Federal Compliance.

They are on a team with Sheila Unwin - Director of Curriculum, Joel Weiss - Senior Director of Assessment & Accreditation, and Gerard Wendolowski - COO. Katie Brown reports to Michael Mathews, Chairman & CEO.
