Ajay Dhara

Ajay Dhara is an experienced estimator currently employed at Asphalt Specialists, Inc. since June 2017, where responsibilities include studying bid packages and performing quantity takeoffs from civil plans. Prior to this position, Ajay worked as a Graduate Student Teaching Assistant at Michigan State University from January 2016 to May 2017, assisting Mr. Metoyer with grading and proctoring. Additionally, Ajay gained valuable experience as an engineering intern at Ingham County Road Commission, focusing on field surveying and traffic control while assisting in road design, and at the City of Kentwood, overseeing soil erosion and site control measures during road construction. Initial experience included a role as a Student Service Assistant at Rivertrail Hospitality Services, where Ajay was promoted to Student Cook within two months. Ajay holds a Master of Science in Construction Management from Michigan State University and a Bachelor of Engineering in Civil Engineering from Anna University Chennai.
