Christian Wiedemer

Christian Wiedemer is an experienced engineering professional currently serving as Analytics Lead at AKA Energy Systems since January 2015, where leadership of a specialized engineering team focuses on innovative solutions for Energy Systems utilizing Real Time Data. Prior to this role, Christian held positions as Lead Electrical Systems Engineer and Electrical Systems Integrator, overseeing the design and commissioning of Marine Hybrid Power and Onshore Microgrid Systems, including work on Deepwater hybrid drilling vessels. Earlier experience includes a role as a Student Engineer at Siemens, contributing to research in Renewable and Hybrid Technologies, and an engineering internship at Aspin Kemp and Associates, where contributions included VFD upgrades for offshore vessels. Christian holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Design Engineering: Energy Engineering from the University of Prince Edward Island and completed minors in Energy Engineering and Computer Science at FAU Erlangen-Nürnberg.
