Charles Bretz has over 30 years of work experience in talent acquisition and management. Charles is currently the Director of Talent Acquisition at Aspire Bakeries, where they are responsible for setting the recruitment strategy and delivering exceptional talent. Prior to this, Charles held various leadership roles in talent acquisition, including Director of Talent Acquisition at Transdev North America and Senior Manager of Talent Acquisition at PLS Financial Services. Charles also has experience in sourcing and research, having worked as a Sourcing Manager at Aon and CDW. Charles has a strong background in building strategic pipelines, managing relationships with recruiting service providers, and implementing innovative sourcing strategies. Charles began their career in management at RadioShack, where they oversaw store operations and merchandising.
Charles Bretz attended Northern Illinois University from 1987 to 1991, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Communications. Charles also holds several certifications including Certified Diversity Recruiter (CDR), Advanced Certified Internet Recruiter (ACIR), and Certified Internet Recruiter (CIR) from AIRS, an ADP company, obtained in 2010, 2008, and 2006 respectively. Charles is currently pursuing The HR Tech Workshop certification from Josh Bersin Academy, expected to be obtained in 2023.
