Maria Shamota has extensive work experience in the technology industry. Maria is currently working as an Engineering Manager at Aspire, starting in September 2022. Prior to that, they worked at New Relic, Inc. as an Engineering Manager from December 2019 to June 2021.

Maria Shamota has a strong educational background in the fields of geophysics and space radiophysics. Maria earned a Master's degree in Space Radiophysics from Kharkiv V. N. Karazin National University, which they attended from 2003 to 2011. Following their Master's degree, Maria went on to pursue a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Geophysics from the same university, and they successfully completed the program from 2008 to 2014. Additionally, in May 2014, they obtained a certification in M101P: MongoDB for Developers.
