Edward Jinks

Edward Jinks has a diverse work experience in the engineering field. Edward started their career at ADP as a Co-op Student in 2005. Edward then worked as a Co-Op Engineer at FirstEnergy from 2007 to 2008. Edward returned to FirstEnergy in 2009 and held various roles including Engineer, Substation Maintenance Supervisor, Engineering General Supervisor, and Engineering Manager. In these positions, they gained experience in distribution planning and protection, substation equipment maintenance and commissioning, transmission planning and protection, and substation design. Edward was responsible for managing JCP&L's regional distribution engineering department and played a significant role in regulatory filings. Edward is currently working at Asplundh Engineering Services as the Engineering Manager, and will soon transition to the role of Director of Engineering in 2023.

Edward Jinks received their Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) degree in Electrical Engineering from Stevens Institute of Technology from 2004 to 2009. Prior to that, they obtained a Diploma from Montville Township High School from 2000 to 2004. In 2013, they obtained a Professional Engineer certification from the New Jersey State Board of Professional Engineers and Land Surveyors.
