Ying Wang

Ying Wang is an experienced engineering professional with a career spanning over 17 years in the oil and gas industry. Currently serving as the Group Engineering and Projects Manager at Assala Energy since November 2017, Ying Wang oversees critical above-ground project activities and supports new business initiatives. Prior experience includes serving as the Decommissioning Project Manager for Perenco, where Ying Wang successfully managed major phases of the Thames Complex decommissioning project. Previous roles include Production & Maintenance Engineer at BP, Mechanical Project Engineer at KBR for the Pearl GTL project, and Mechanical Engineer at Beijing Union University. Ying Wang holds an MSc in Thermodynamics & Turbomachinery from UCL and a BEng in Mechanical & Electronics Engineering from Beijing Union University.
