Katie Kitrinos

Senior Vice President, Preclinical Research and Development at Assembly Biosciences

Katie Kitrinos has extensive experience in the biopharmaceutical industry, with a strong background in virology. Katie currently holds the position of Senior Vice President, Preclinical Research and Development at Assembly Biosciences, Inc., a role they have held since March 2023. Prior to this, they were Vice President, Clinical Virology at the same company, starting in November 2020.

Katie Kitrinos pursued their education in a chronological manner. Katie first attended James Madison University from 1992 to 1996, where they obtained their Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. Subsequently, they enrolled at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill School of Medicine from 1996 to 2003, and successfully completed their PhD in Genetics and Molecular Biology.
