Sunita Joshua

Sunita Joshua has a diverse range of work experience in the field of data analysis and business intelligence. Sunita started their career in 2010 as an Information Management Specialist at Toyota Financial Services. Sunita then worked as a Data Integration Specialist at Telecom NZ, where they managed a team and oversaw a data migration project.

Following this, they worked as a DW/BI Consultant at Asciano Limited, where they developed HR and Terminal KPI reports and designed data models. Sunita also worked as a BI Consultant at Massey University, where they conducted data quality analysis and developed Tabular Models for data visualization.

Sunita later joined the University of Waikato as a BI Specialist, where they led the development of a BI Strategy and Roadmap engagement. Sunita conducted workshops, interviews, and provided recommendations for BI governance. Sunita then moved to Altis Consulting, where they served as a Senior Consultant and Tableau Trainer.

Sunita also worked at ASB Bank as a BI Consultant, where they tested and developed a new BI initiative. After that, they joined Westpac as a Lead Data Analyst, and then joined Altis Consulting again as a Senior Consultant, where they contributed to various projects in the field of Business Intelligence, Data Warehousing, and Data Management.

Sunita'smost recent role is the Senior Data Modeler at Assent, where they are currently working and responsible for implementing data management initiatives. Sunita is experienced in data quality, data integration, and master data management.

Sunita Joshua earned a Master's degree in Electronic Business Technologies from the University of Ottawa in 2015-2016. Prior to that, they pursued a Bachelor of Information Systems with Honors in Management Information Systems and Services from St. Francis Xavier University from 1995-2000. In addition to their formal education, Sunita has obtained various certifications including IBM Certified Developer - Cognos8/10 BI Metadata Models in 2010, Microsoft Certified Professional - SQL Server 2012 BI in 2014, and Tableau Desktop Qualified Associate in 2014.
