Naomi McKean has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Naomi currently holds the position of Senior Vice President, Deputy General Counsel at AssetMark, where they have been employed since 2013. Prior to this role, Naomi served as Vice President, Associate General Counsel and Vice President, Corporate Counsel at AssetMark. Naomi began their career at AssetMark as a Paralegal and later took on the role of Executive Administrator to the CEO/Paralegal.
Before joining AssetMark, Naomi worked at Genworth Financial Wealth Management as an Executive Administrator to the CEO and President from 2011 to 2013.
Naomi also has experience in the legal field, having worked as an Attorney at Morrison Kent from 2008 to 2010. Prior to becoming an Attorney, they served as a Law Clerk at the same firm, where they assisted senior counsel with court and file administration, drafted legal opinions/memoranda, and handled client liaison.
In addition, Naomi has held roles in other sectors, including a Temporary High Performance Administrator position at BikeNZ and a Heritage Research Officer role at Stratford District Council.
Throughout their career, Naomi has demonstrated their versatility and adaptability, taking on various responsibilities and consistently excelling in their roles.
Naomi McKean obtained their Bachelor of Arts degree in English Literature and History, as well as their Bachelor of Laws degree from Victoria University of Wellington. Naomi completed their studies in both disciplines from 2003 to 2008.
