Cheryl Scruggs-Henderson

Cheryl Scruggs-Henderson has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Cheryl started their career in 1998 as a Chief Accountant/Accounting Manager at HYATT Hotels. After that, they worked as a Corporate Accounting Manager at Posadas USA, INC. from 2000 to 2003, and then as a Director of Accounting/Controller at Ornelas & Partners, LLC from 2003 to 2005. Cheryl took on the role of Regional Controller at Robert Half Management Resources-Joe's Crab Shack from 2005 to 2007. Following this, they became a Corporate Accounting Manager at Frandeli Group, LLC from 2007 to 2009 and then at Greystar from 2009 to 2015. Cheryl served as the Director of Finance and Accounting at Avero Diagnostics from 2015 to 2019. Currently, Cheryl is working at Associa, where they started as a Controller in February 2019 and was promoted to Vice President of Accounting in July 2021.

Cheryl Scruggs-Henderson earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from the University of Phoenix in 2011. Prior to that, they completed a Bachelor's Degree in Marketing/Accounting at The University of Texas at Arlington. Cheryl also studied Accounting and Finance at St. Mary's University.
