Amy Beard, CPHR has over 20 years of experience in human resources. Amy is currently a Human Resources Manager at Associa British Columbia, Inc, where they started in 2022. Amy started their career at Bredin Institute in 2010 as a Facilitator/Career Coach, where they delivered training sessions and coached clients on employee/employer relations.

Additionally, Amy has previous experience as a Human Resources Administrative Assistant at Abitibi Consolidated in 2000 and as a Training Centre Manager & Store Manager at Blockbuster Video from 1993 to 1997. In these roles, they handled various HR responsibilities, trained employees, developed training programs, and implemented new policies and procedures.

Throughout their career, Amy has demonstrated strong skills in recruitment, employee relations, training, and data analysis.

Amy Beard, CPHR, completed their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in English Language and Literature, General at the University of Calgary from 1989 to 1995. Amy later pursued a Certificate in Human Resources Management and Services at Mount Royal University from 1997 to 1999. Amy also obtained additional certifications, including becoming a CPHR Candidate in June 2018 and achieving CPHR membership from CPHR BC & Yukon in November 2022.
