Emily Hoffman has a diverse work experience that spans multiple industries. Emily began their career in 2007 as a Filmmaking Instructor at Northbay Adventure Summer Camp, where they taught filmmaking techniques to children. Emily then worked as a Field Utility at ESPN in 2008.

In 2009, Emily joined Telemedia Productions as an Editor/Videographer, where they managed client and tape logs, performed editing tasks, and created graphics for video messages. Emily later worked as a Production Assistant at The Watermen, LLC, acquiring necessary documentation and providing logistics support to the Executive Producer.

Emily's career took a digital marketing focus when they joined Seven Cities Media in 2010 as a Production Assistant/Editor. Emily then served as a Sr. Publicist - Social Media at SeaWorld Parks & Entertainment in 2011, where they developed and executed social media strategies for Busch Gardens and Water Country USA brands, produced content, and coordinated media events.

In 2012, Emily joined Advocacy Group Inc as a Digital Product Manager and later as a Creative Director. Emily collaborated closely with clients to develop creative direction and managed social media and digital marketing campaigns to increase online engagement.

Emily's next role was at Friends of Scott Walker in 2014, where they worked as a Deputy Digital Director for a successful gubernatorial campaign. Emily developed effective communication plans, strategies, and the campaign website, implementing growth hacking tactics for lead conversions.

From 2015 to 2018, Emily served as a Senior Creative Technologist at Vertical Strategies. Emily planned and executed multivariate experiments to optimize conversions, managed creative and development teams, and identified emerging technologies for the organization.

Emily's most recent position is at Associated General Contractors of America, where they started as a Director of Marketing in 2018 and currently holds the role of Senior Director of Marketing & Content Strategy.

Emily Hoffman attended James Madison University, where they pursued a B.A. in Media Arts and Design with a focus on Digital Video. Emily also completed a minor in Religion during their time at the university. Additionally, they studied Italian at Università Per Stranieri Dante Alighieri.
