David Silverstein

David Silverstein is a seasoned broadcast journalism professional with extensive experience in various leadership roles. Currently serving as the National Sales Director at The Associated Press since November 2015, David has also held the position of National Sales Executive at the same organization. Prior to this, David was the News Director at WPMT FOX 43 and managed distribution and marketing as well as served as a senior news producer at The Pentagon Channel. David's career includes significant roles such as Director of Communications for the South Florida Super Bowl Host Committee, News Director at WMAR TV Baltimore, and News Director at WSYX/WTTE Columbus, among others. Additionally, David contributed to academia as an adjunct professor at the University of Maryland's Philip Merrill College of Journalism. David holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Broadcast Journalism from Syracuse University.
