Susan Yount

Susan Yount has a varied work experience spanning several industries. Susan started their career as a Food Server at Cracker Barrel in 1995 and later worked as a Third Shift employee at Multi-Color Corporation from 1993 to 1995. Susan then interned as a Publications Intern at the Association of Academic Physiatrists, where they gained experience in typesetting and page design.

Susan worked as a Freelance Photographer for the Bloomington Independent from 1999 to 2001 and as a Publications Specialist for the Bloomington Board of Realtors from 2000 to 2001. Susan also had a role as an Assistant Office Manager at Star Of The West Milling Co from 2002 to 2004, where they managed logistics and customer service.

Additionally, Susan worked as an Administrative Assistant at The Associated Press from 2004 to 2011, where they handled accounts payable and other general office tasks. Susan Yount has a strong education background in the arts and journalism. Susan obtained their Associate Degree in Journalism from Indiana University Southeast in 1995. Susan then went on to earn their Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from Indiana University Bloomington in 1999. Following this, Susan pursued Graduate Studies in Creative Writing & Graphic Design at Kent State University from 2002 to 2004. Susan later completed their Master of Fine Arts in Poetry from Columbia College Chicago in 2011.
