Tara Mahoney

Tara Mahoney has held various roles throughout their work experience. Tara started their career as an Assistant Manager at Country Gardens in 2000 and worked there until 2002. Tara then worked as an Administrative Coordinator at U.S. Smokeless Tobacco Company LLC from 2002 to 2004. After that, they worked as an Administrative Coordinator at Boehringer Ingelheim in 2005.

In 2008, Tara joined The Associated Press as a Sales Operations Coordinator for AP Digital and later became a Sales Operations Analyst for New Media Markets in 2010. Tara then advanced to the position of Sales Planning Manager for Commercial and Digital Markets in 2013. From 2016 to 2019, they served as the Sales Support Director for Commercial and Digital Markets. Prior to their current role, Tara was the Director of Customer Operations - Americas from 2019 to 2022.

Currently, Tara is the Senior Director of Global Customer Operations at The Associated Press, a position they have held since August 2022.

Tara Mahoney studied Elementary Education and English at Boston College. Tara also pursued a Media Studies Concentration at The New School.
