Zara Ainge is a research intern at Stanford University School of Medicine in the Jardetzky Lab, focusing on researching the entry mechanisms of human cytomegalovirus for vaccine development. Zara has also held roles as the Heritage Month Coordinator and Chair of Women's History Month at the Associated Students of Foothill College, as well as serving as the President of the Foothill Asian American Association. Additionally, Zara works as a Legislative Liaison at the National Alopecia Areata Foundation. Zara is pursuing an Associate's degree in Molecular Biology at Foothill College after graduating from Carlmont High School.
