Peter Wachtel is an award-winning Architecture & Product Innovation & Design Teacher and CTE Chair at Adolfo Camarillo High School in the Oxnard Union High School District, where innovative learning environments and unique design programs have been created. With experience as a SkillsUSA Advisor and ACTE Advisor, Wachtel has received accolades such as the 2022 California ACTE CTE Teacher of the Year. Additionally, Wachtel serves as Chief Creative Kid at KidToyology®, specializing in the creative direction and design education of toys and products, while also having a significant presence in media as a featured personality across various television platforms. Wachtel's academic experience includes serving as a Professor of Industrial Design and Academic Chair at The Art Institute of California-Hollywood, where oversight and curriculum development of design programs were essential responsibilities. Wachtel holds a Master’s Degree in Industrial, Product & Toy Design from Pratt Institute and is currently a candidate for an Ed.D. in Instructional Technology.
