Demarkus Barnes

Demarkus Barnes is an experienced educator and coach currently serving as a Teacher and Varsity Assistant Boys Basketball Coach at Rockwall Independent School District since June 2022. Prior to this role, Demarkus spent nine years at Plano Independent School District as a Teacher and Coach. Additionally, from March 2015 to July 2020, Demarkus operated as a Basketball Skills Development Coach for coachDBskillz, LLC, focusing on enhancing players' skills in ball handling, shooting, and agility. Demarkus holds a Bachelor of Education in Health and Physical Education/Fitness from Mississippi Valley State University and an Associate of Arts in the same field from Connors State College.
