Rebecca Deegan has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Rebecca currently holds the position of Chief Sustainability Officer & DEI (parental cover) at the Association of British Insurers. Prior to this, they worked as the Head of Protection and Health (maternity cover) for the same organization.

In 2020, Rebecca founded and served as the CEO of "I have a voice CIC", an organization aimed at engaging people with politics and increasing political literacy. Rebecca also worked at the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists as an Administrator with various responsibilities.

Additionally, Rebecca worked at SitexOrbis Limited as the Administration & Business Planning Manager, overseeing the centralization of operational administration and customer service functions in multiple regions.

Rebecca's career is marked by their involvement in policy development, stakeholder engagement, business development, and team leadership.

Rebecca Deegan obtained their Bachelor's degree in Human Sciences with a major in Anthropology from Durham University, where they attended from 2005 to 2008. Rebecca later pursued a degree in Globalisation & Development with a focus on Politics at The University of Sheffield, completing it in 2012.
