Orla Collins

Orla is interim managing director with Aberdeen Standard Investments Ireland. Prior to this Orla has held a number of senior roles within the financial services sector, most recently as chief risk officer with Standard Life International. Orla’s experience includes roles in risk management, compliance, branch banking, financial control, internal audit and asset management.

Orla was appointed global vice president of ACCA in November 2019. In addition she sits on the ACCA Global Council, is a member of the Council Board and of the Nomination and Governance Committee.

Orla holds an MSc in strategic management (first class honours), is a member of the Institute of Bankers, a licentiate of the Association of Compliance Officers in Ireland and a qualified financial advisor.
