Kevin Messner

Executive Vice President, Chief Policy Officer at Association of Home Appliance Manufacturers

Kevin Messner has worked in a variety of roles since 1988. Kevin began their career as a Product Development & Manufacturing Engineer at General Motors. Kevin then moved to the U.S. House of Representatives in 1997, where they served as the Congressional Chief of Staff. In 2006, they were appointed as the Associate Administrator of Congressional Affairs & Governmentwide Policy for the General Services Administration. In 2008, they joined the Association of Home Appliance Manufacturers as the Vice President of State Government Affairs and the Vice President of Policy & Government Relations. In 2014, they became the President of PoliticaLogic, a consulting firm that "Engineers Public Policy." Kevin currently serves as the Sr. Vice President of Policy & Government Relations at the Association of Home Appliance Manufacturers (AHAM).

Kevin Messner attended the University of Wisconsin-Madison from 1983 to 1988, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering. In 1985 and 1986, they participated in a Junior Year Abroad program at The University of Bonn. In 1993 and 1994, they obtained an MBA from Thunderbird School of Global Management and also participated in a Summer Semester Abroad program at Universidad Autónoma de Guadalajara.
